A few years back, we paid a bunch of money to have kfai.org moved from Drupal to WordPress. Surprise, it’s a few years later and we want to change it up again. We had the developers write a bunch of custom code/cron jobs/etc to automate all our archiving and pull the spinitron lists for each show, stuff that was being done by hand previously.
It seems to me that, now that all that programming is done, we don’t need to reinvent the wheel and can buy a “radio station” theme rather than paying another few thousand bucks to have a company write one.
What are other stations using and are you happy with it? In particular, I’m looking to move away from relying on FTP automation to upload our archives and embrace ARK integration and make it look nice.
