Widget.spintron.com outage?

Last night, widgets were inaccessible via “widgets.spintron.com”, though they were still there through “spintron.com/widget”. This problem was resolved earlier this morning.

  1. Was there an outage, a DNS misstep or something?
  2. Is either widget URL type preferable?

Hi Ray,

An expired certificate for widgets.spinitron.com was still being used by the nginx web server. I reloaded nginx this morning around 8:30 eastern.

Sorry about that. I thought these reloads were automatic.
