Weird deletion? Can't find show

We had one show that showed up twice in our schedule (on purpose). We wanted to eliminate one of the instances. So I clicked on the extra instance and was presented with a menu for which the last item was “Delete” (not “Retire”). When I clicked it, both instances of the show in the schedule disappeared. How do I restore the second instance? Why is the option Delete and not Retire? I see that on other shows that show up in the schedule more than once it says Delete, but shows that have a single slot have Retire.

There are playlists for this show, and there are some duplicate shows that have almost the same name, but were deactivated years ago.

If a show has no playlists (and you need to take care checking this) then you can delete it. Otherwise you can retire it.

This is because a public show page has its list of attached playlists. If you want to delete the show, you should move the playlists to another show so that they are somewhere on the internet.
