OBSERVATIONS/COMMENTS I used to do these on every chart I posted but I stopped, but I have fun writing them, even if no one enjoys reading them.

  1. When a band that I’ve never heard of gets #1 on the chart, I’m confused. Who is Deep Sea Diver and where did she come from?
  2. Manning Fireworks is finally more than 6 months old. Thank god
  3. Cool to see that Saya Gray album so high because you don’t really ever see weird art pop get this high on the charts.
  4. Cheekface is a terrible band and I’m tired of stations playing them. They keep cranking out albums though, so it’s probably not gonna end any time soon.
  5. Nothing is funnier to me than the Lumineers and Mumford and Sons both ending up on the Spinitron charts.
  6. Huh. Counting Crows with a new single. That got on the charts. Okay.
