We’ll be doing various upgrades soon. Some of work will disrupt service. I don’t expect any of outages to last more than 10 minutes, they should be shorter, but if things go awry it could take longer.
A full service interval is when we need to shut down all database access. This means the following go down for the duration:
- everything spinitron.com web site
- automatic music recognition
- we stop accepting now-playing updates from station’s automation software
- metadata push
Other kinds of maintenance can mean disruption to just some aspects of Spinitron.
The Ark archive server is separate and not scheduled for work just now.
