I have read that programs cannot be downloaded because they may contain copyrighted music, but I am wondering if it is possible to download part of a program on which my band performed our own original music and was interviewed within a program. We would like to get an archive of the performance, if possible. Thanks!
Ted, I’m a Spinitron user, not staff. But can guess their answer: Spinitron, in compliance with FCC and RIAA regs, can audio-stream radio-station broadcasts, and keep those streams archived for 2 weeks. But Spinitron does not distinguish the type of broadcast: Everything goes into the stream. So, your answer is No, you can’t download the stream, no matter the content. You could, however, play the stream on your computer and capture the audio with a program like Audio Hijack.
