Changing playlist from private to public

Hello all, Can anyone advise on how a user can change their playlist from private to public?

Hi Rachel, thanks for joining the forum.

Playlists in Spinitron don’t have a property that we can set to either public or private. But there are conditions that prevent a playlist from displaying on the public Spinitron web pages.

  1. A playlist belonging to a user that is still in the “new user” status is hidden from the public. To fix this, get an admin to upgrade your status.

  2. A playlist with a date and time that’s in the future is normally hidden from the public. The exception is if you check the “Display as a future public playlist” checkbox when creating or reopening the playlist.
