I work for KDVS Davis and for the past month our Spinitron’s Audio Recognition system has not been working for all of our shows, whether the show plays only physical media, plays music from the computer, is a public affairs show, or a pre-recorded show. Our DJs have been manually inputting their tracks into their show playlists, despite our Automation settings being set for “Live assist”.
This issue has been causing problems for our web integration website, as the Audio Recognition program creates playlists for our DJs and without a corresponding playlist there is no show recording publicized on our station website. However, the recordings are available on our station’s Spinitron website. We have not been able to troubleshoot said issue, as far as I am aware all of the station admin settings are set for the Audio Recognition to work. However, we have had internet/connection issues in the past few months that caused a gap in recording for the Ark Webcast Archive. Any help troubleshooting this issue and/or insight into what’s causing this and any other helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
